With the way things have been going lately, we could all use a good laugh. Fortunately, you’ll have a chance to get those much-needed giggles pretty soon. Plant Riverside District aka Savannah’s Entertainment District has teamed up with Big Comedy Network to present a series of hilarious happenings featuring some of the biggest, brightest comedians in the industry.
So far, District Live has hosted Big Comedy Network talents like Gina Brillon, Steve Byrne and Rocky Dale Davis. Next up on the list is Cocoa Brown, a spirited stand-up comedian and actress from Newport News, Virginia whose passionate, veracious delivery leaves a lasting impression. Brown has been seen on Tyler Perry’s “For Better or Worse” and “The Single Moms Club” as well as in films like “Lakeview Terrace” and “Ted 2.”
She will be performing at District Live Nov. 10-12 as a part of her “One Funny Momma” tour. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and 7 and 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
