The days are winding down. The Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival kicks off this Friday. From Oct. 14-16, you’ll be able to enjoy delicious food, a fun carnival, and great live entertainment from both local and nationally-known acts. The festival attracts thousands each year, and it’s a great time with fun for seafood lovers of all ages. Bring the kiddos and prepare to have a blast.
Richmond Hill’s J.F. Gregory Park will be transformed into a massive fairground complete with thrilling amusement rides, carnival games, vendor tents and a stage where live acts will perform every evening. Gates open at 5 p.m. on Friday and at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets are still available online. They’ll also be sold on-site each day of the festival, but if you want to avoid spending time in long lines, go ahead and get your tickets online today. Your ticket purchase grants you access to the festival all day for the date you purchased. You will receive a stamp permitting you to leave and reenter the same day, if you like. The ticket also includes the concerts for the evening of your ticket date. Food and drinks, vendor goods, and carnival rides are available for an additional cost.
