Good news for you and your furry friends. Wag-o-Ween is on its way! Voted Savannah’s best charity event, Wag-o-Ween is a fun opportunity to take your pet trick-or-treating in Savannah’s Historic Downtown and the Starland District. This year, Wag-o-Ween will take place Oct. 22-23. But the fun is starting early with a special fundraising event happening this week. 

Renegade Paws Rescue is hosting an evening of elegant wine tasting on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to support Wag-o-Ween 2022. Held at the Mansion La Belle, the event will feature the Savannah debut of Rescue Dog Wines, an award-winning wine company with a passion for rescue dog organizations. 

During the night, guests can enjoy a variety of sustainable wines from Rescue Dog Wines in addition to delicious hors d’oeuvres from Noble Fare and 1540 Room. Every guest will receive a souvenir wine glass. And there will be great entertainment including Savannah storytelling, tarot readings and live music.
