Things to Know About the Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival

The Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival is on its way, taking place Oct. 14-16 at J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill. The festival is a celebration of coastal fare staples along with great music and family fun. In addition to fresh seafood, attendees can look forward to exciting carnival rides and entertaining performances from some of the top names in country music. Before you go, there are a few things you should know about the fest to ensure you have the best experience. Here they are:

Free parking is available offsite. 

There is no onsite parking, but there is free offside parking with a free shuttle. Look over the parking info to find out where free parking is available. 

B.Y.O.C. (Bring your own chair.)

Seating is not provided, but there is a large, open concert area. Feel free to bring your own chairs to ensure your comfort at the festival. 

Admission/Beer tickets are debit/credit card only.

To cut down on time spent in lines, admission and beer ticket sales are debit/credit card only. You can save even more time by purchasing your admission tickets online. 

ATMs will be available for all other purchases.

Food, non-alcoholic drinks, carnival tickets and vendor shopping will be available in the park. These purchases will require cash. ATMs will be available in the park.  

Your ticket includes the day’s concerts.

Your admission ticket grants you access to the festival for the day you’ve purchased, and that includes that evening’s concerts. You will receive a stamp at the entrance, so you can leave and return to the festival if need be, as long as it is within the same day.
